The Tigo Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is a required component of any Tigo EI Residential Solar + Energy Storage System (ESS). Designed for grid-tied applications, the ATS continuously monitors utility power and automatically transitions the home to solar and battery backup during a grid outage.

When utility power is restored, the Tigo ATS safely reconnects the system to the grid, ensuring seamless operation without homeowner intervention. Engineered for reliability, safety, and simplified installation, the Tigo ATS enables whole-home or essential-load backup when paired with Tigo EI Hybrid Inverters and Tigo batteries.
