The Tesla Backup Gateway 3 (1841000-01-y) is a 200A, 120/240VAC, 60Hz wall-mounted energy management device with a NEMA 3R rating, designed for Tesla Powerwall 2 and 3 systems. It provides seamless grid-to-backup transition, revenue-grade energy monitoring (±0.5%), and 10-year warranty coverage.

  • Grid Management: Controls connection to the grid, enabling whole-home backup and automatic detection of outages.
  • Capacity: 200A continuous current with 100–200A overcurrent protection.
  • Compatibility: Designed for Tesla Powerwall 2 and Powerwall 3, featuring CAN communication.
  • Design & Installation: NEMA 3R rated for indoor or outdoor wall-mount installation, with dimensions of 26 x 16 x 6 inches (660 x 411 x 149 mm) and a weight of 36 lbs (16.3 kg).
