Enphase IQ Battery 10C – 5 kWh Battery Unit (Domestic)

The Enphase IQ Battery 10C – 5 kWh Battery Unit (Domestic) is a modular lithium iron phosphate (LFP) energy-storage battery designed as a building block for the Enphase IQ Battery 10C energy storage system. Each unit provides 5 kWh of battery capacity and includes one mounting bracket, allowing multiple units to be combined into a larger energy-storage solution.

Designed for residential solar and backup applications, the IQ Battery 10C platform combines high energy capacity, integrated power electronics, advanced battery management, and Enphase monitoring capabilities. The system is designed to store excess solar energy for later use, provide backup power during grid outages, and support energy-management strategies such as self-consumption and time-of-use operation.

This Domestic Content version is identified by SKU B05-C01-US00-1-3-DOM. The individual battery unit is supplied without the IQ Battery 10C ID cover. A complete IQ Battery 10C system requires two 5 kWh battery units plus a separate cover kit.

The individual battery module has a 5 kWh nominal capacity. When two modules are installed together as an IQ Battery 10C system, the resulting system provides 10.0 kWh total and usable battery capacity.

Battery Chemistry

The IQ Battery 10C uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) chemistry. LFP technology is widely used in stationary energy storage because of its combination of safety, durability, and long cycle life.

Temperature Range

The battery is designed for outdoor operation across a broad temperature range:

• Charging: −20°C to 50°C (−4°F to 122°F)
• Discharging: −20°C to 55°C (−4°F to 131°F)
• Optimum operating temperature: 0°C to 30°C (32°F to 86°F)

Charging and discharging performance may be reduced at temperature extremes.

Installation & Enclosure

The IQ Battery 10C uses an Outdoor NEMA 3R enclosure and natural-convection cooling. The system can be installed using wall mounting or a pedestal mount, with the pedestal sold separately.
