The Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/48-8 is a professional isolated DC-DC charger designed to charge a 48V service battery from a 12V battery or alternator. Its galvanically isolated design keeps the input and output electrically separated, allowing separate chassis grounds.

With built-in Bluetooth, the Orion-Tr Smart can be monitored, configured, and programmed using the VictronConnect app. It features an adaptive 3-stage charging algorithm and supports both lithium and lead-acid batteries, making it ideal for off-grid, automotive, marine, RV, and dual-battery applications.
